Michael Cropper

About

Michael Cropper, who oversees our Washington, D.C. office, has a broad background in structural design and analysis and project management. He has collaborated with project teams on the design and construction of structures of all shapes and sizes, including cultural and sports venues, commercial and residential complexes, government buildings, healthcare facilities and mixed-use urban developments in the U.S. and internationally. A proponent of climate-resilient design, Michael incorporates embodied carbon reduction strategies in his projects. He previously served as a leader of Thornton Tomasetti’s Embodied Carbon Community of Practice, whose working groups focus on sharing best practices and new ideas for decarbonizing buildings.
