The new Public Library branch in the Westchester Square area of the Bronx is part of an overall master plan for the area’s revitalization. The new 12,000-square-foot, two-story structure will include reading rooms, multipurpose program rooms, restrooms and public computers, and will feature wireless internet access. The building is comprised of a modern glass-and-steel structure and is seeking LEED Silver Certification.
We are providing site civil and geotechnical engineering services to Snøhetta for the library.
