Overview
University of Miami Health System is bringing world class care to North Miami through a new outpatient facility in SoLé Mia — a 184-acre mixed-development. The facility will offer services that include cardiology, neurology and orthopedics and will feature 110 exam rooms, 33 clinical treatment units for cancer patients and a green space where visitors can enjoy views of the ocean.
We are providing structural design and acoustic, noise, and vibration control services to CallisonRTKL for the seven-story, 325,000-square-foot facility. The facility is scheduled to open in 2025.
Highlights
- The ground floor of the main ambulatory building will host an entrance lobby, café, radiation oncology, LINAC, main imaging rooms and CUP equipment.
- The second floor will have surgery and operating rooms with patient's preparation and recovery areas
- On the third level, there will be physiotherapy rooms, supporting rooms and mechanical spaces. There will also be a green space on this floor for visitors to enjoy the outdoor.
- There is a clinic and diagnostics rooms on levels four through five while a pharmacy and mechanical spaces occupy level six.
- The building connects to the pre-cast parking garage with a connector at ground floor and features a entrance canopy with 28 ft cantilever
