Overview
The innovatively designed Enigma on the Park features 86 condominium and townhome units in a nine-storey tower linked to artist studios and galleries in a three-storey commercial building. Enigma on the Park borders McGregor Park in the heart of Bloordale. The aesthetically striking exterior evokes dynamic movement and contributes to the revitalization a previously contaminated site adjacent to a rail corridor.
We provided construction administration services to Quadrangle Architects for the complex, which completed in 2019.
Highlights
- The condominium consists of nine storeys above grade and a single level of parking below.
- The upper four storeys span across two separate building structures and that make up the base of the building.
- The upper section is designed using the corridor walls as concrete trusses that support the structure as it spans across the 15-meter-wide exterior corridor below, which eliminates the need for a thick transfer slab across the base.
