Overview
With a focus on alternative building strategies, the two-story Panzer-Kaserne Army Base school in Germany was designed as a model for sustainable design and targeted LEED NC Silver certification. We helped identify opportunities for successful LEED-related design and construction solutions while supporting the desired architectural design and construction performance targets.
We provided LEED consulting services to Aldinger Architekten, Stuttgart, Gaus + Knoedler Architekten, Göppingen and Transsolar Klimate Engineering for the academic building, which was completed in 2015.
Highlights
- As LEED consultant, we worked with the full design team, the client and the contractor toward a successful LEED submission through each phase of the design and construction process.
- The scope of work included general LEED Silver compliance and documentation to be submitted to a local authority.
