Mr. Boris Gimelshteyn has more than 40 years of experience in structural design and analysis of steel, concrete and wood structures. He has extensive knowledge of exterior masonry façade troubleshooting and specializes in the investigation of curtain walls, roofs and waterproofing systems. He conducts field survey and scaffolding investigations to identify the sources of various problems that are associated with exterior building elements, and provides cost-effective methods of repair. His responsibilities have included preparation of restoration specifications, drawings and details, project scheduling, coordination with clients, contractors and manufacturers representatives, and field inspections with revised details according to the field conditions. He holds a master’s degree in civil engineering from Lviv Polytechnic National University, Ukraine.
