The Edge in Williamsburg
The Edge is a mixed-use development complex on Williamsburg’s revitalized waterfront. It consists of four different buildings, highlighted by a 30-story condominium concrete tower. The second 16-story building and two eight-story rental buildings complete the first phase of this complex. In all, the development includes over 1,000 condominiums, 347 rental apartments, 60,000 square feet of retail space, below-grade parking for 550 cars, and 34,000 square feet of an open space promenade that leads to a marina, which will be used by the public. The Stephen B. Jacobs Group, New York, N.Y., is the design architect with Thornton Tomasetti providing structural engineering services.
