ACE Mentor Program
We’re building a foundation for the future of our industry by supporting the ACE Mentor Program. Since ACE’s inception in the mid-1990s, our firm has been heavily involved in the organization, helping found new affiliates, helping garner support, raising funds and expanding the organization throughout the United States. Founding Principal Charlie Thornton has been recognized nationally as a driving force in creating and expanding ACE, including ENR’s Award of Excellence in 2001 for his contributions to the industry through ACE. Thornton Tomasetti people are active at all levels of the program, from critical mentors and board members of local affiliates to active members of the National Affiliates Council and National Board of Directors.
ACE mentors in 100+ cities across the country meet to expose high school students to what architects, construction managers and engineers do. ACE Mentor Programs have now awarded more than $6 million in scholarships and many of graduates are now working as design professionals and several are now serving as mentors.

Since 2007, we have held an annual exhibition of photographs of the built environment, taken by Thornton Tomasetti people from across the firm. We thank our Managing Principals for their ongoing support, which allows us to continue this annual event that lets us gather and admire the creativity and “captured moments” of our employees. We also thank all employees who participate and our respected jurors.
